Our beloved, Ann “Annie” McLynch 71, of Cranston passed away at home on May 7, 2025, surrounded by her loving wife and family. Born in Providence, she was a beloved daughter of the late Joseph “Pat” and Angelina (Bianco) McLynch. Annie grew up in the greatest neighborhood in the world, Federal Hill, and was blessed to have so many friends from there who remained close to her throughout her lifetime. Many of the gang would still come to her house on any given night and ‘hang’ there with her. Prior to her recent retirement due to illness,
Annie was a loyal and decades-long employee of Technic, Inc. in Cranston Annie was one of those special people with whom an immediate bond was formed from first meeting her and was so very easy to love; she became instant friends with everyone and never pass judgement. Annie had a great heart but if you crossed her or were a hater of anyone she would stand up for the victim of the hatred and tell you to leave. Annie believed in love for all and whenever she was around there would always be laughter and smiles filling the room. All these people she met along the way have been reaching out and they, along with Annie’s family will miss her dearly.
Annie is survived by her loving wife of 32 years, Carmen Cadotte, who cared for her every hour of every day during her recent illness, never once leaving her side! Her love paid off because Annie passed at home, lying in her arms, just as she wanted to. If there is such a thing as a “Perfect Couple”, they were the epitome of one! Always there for each other, they were always happiest whenever they were together. Carmen’s tribute to and memory of Annie is that “she made me laugh every day and I truly feel blessed to have been fortunate enough to experience together the love and commitment we shared that too few shall”.
She leaves a son Joseph McLynch of Providence, a granddaughter Amber McLynch of Providence, A brother Michael McLynch Sr. and his spouse Monica of Providence and a brother Frank McLynch of Cranston.
Annie also leaves a brother-in-law Daniel Cadotte of Mt. Dora Florida, A sister- in-law Carol Cadotte of Port St Lucie, Florida. Nephews; Michael Mclynch Jr. his spouse Jennifer, of Cumberland, RI, Mason Cadotte Skov of Port St Lucie, Florida, Gary Cadotte and his spouse Kristin of Eustis, Florida, Michael Cadotte and his spouse Amanda of Mt Dora Florida, Her niece, Arianna (McLynch) and her husband Matthew Dalton of Warwick, and two great-nieces, Ava and Alessandra along with two great-nephews, Zion and Michael III, by whom she will be sorely missed.
