Anna C. (Pisaturo) Martin, age 82, passed away peacefully on March 31, 2025 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Jerome Martin, whose memory she held dear throughout her life.
Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Ferdinando and Angela (Valentino) Pisaturo, as well as an adored sister to the late Antonetta M. Phillips.
She was a hard-working office manager for multiple companies for many years before her retirement. Anna also took pride in her many artistic hobbies including crocheting, painting, jewelry making, and baking, which brought joy and creativity into her life and the lives of those around her. She also cherished her weekly bingo nights with her friends in La Casa, where her laughter would light up the room, creating lasting memories with good company.
Anna is survived by her two devoted sons and their wives, who will forever treasure her memory in their hearts: Robert Garafano Jr. (Lelani) of New Smyrna Beach, Florida and Mark Garafano (Jennifer) of Providence, Rhode Island. She was the adored and nurturing grandmother of five —Robert, Kayla, Mark, David and Tanya—proud great-grandmother of 13, and delighted great-great-grandmother of one. Anna also leaves behind a vast network of other family members and dear friends who will profoundly miss her warm presence and unwavering kindness.
Her visitation will be held on Tuesday April 8, 2025 from 8:30-10:00 a.m. in the Romano Funeral Home, 627 Union Avenue, Providence. Following the visitation relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. in St. Mary Church, 1525 Cranston St., Cranston. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
