Annette V. Bonsignore, 92, of North Providence, passed away October 16, 2024, surrounded by her loving family at home.
Born in Providence a daughter of the late Umberto and Vera (Neri) Bonsignore.
Annette (Nets), the oldest of five children, embodied the values of a true matriarch and was genuinely loved by all the family members she helped raise and nurture. Nets never met a game she couldn’t win, even against all odds. Though she often humbly underestimated her abilities, you could find her answering trivia questions correctly by “just guessing,” winning word games when she “couldn’t spell,” or dominating board games in only minutes when she “was still learning the rules.” Some of her most peaceful moments were found in the presence of family, watching and wishing for hummingbirds. A lifelong caretaker, Nets led by example and taught through her actions that one with the ability to help those they love should do so.
She was preceded in death by brothers Albert and Raymond Bonsignore and sister Elaine Tucciarone. She is survived by her sister, Betty Walach, and all her devoted nieces and nephews spanning several generations.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, October 24, 2024 at 10 am, in St. Mary’s Church, 1525 Cranston Street, Cranston.
Burial will be private. Visiting hours are omitted.
