Carlos Manuel Guerrero, age 77, passed away on May 16th 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Maritza (Cruz) Guerrero to whom he was happily married for almost 50 years.
Born in the Dominican Republic, he was the son of the late Alba A. Guerrero and Martin Rijos.
Carlos was a taxi driver for many years before his retirement.
He was the devoted father of 3; cherished grandfather of 7; and adored great grandfather of 1, all of whom he loved dearly.
Carlos was a person who touched the hearts of everyone he met, a mentor to many, a pillar of strength and a champion to his family. He will be deeply missed.
His visitation will be held on Thursday, May 22, 2025 from 9:00 am-10:30 am in the Romano Funeral Home, 627 Union Ave, Providence followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 11:00 am in St. Charles Church, 178 Dexter St, Providence. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
