Children’s Friend

Children’s Friend, one of Rhode Island’s largest and oldest nonprofits, is looking for volunteers to read to children and engage with them in creative-based activities. This is a great opportunity to support early childhood development and social interaction in a fun and nurturing environment. No prior experience is necessary—just enthusiasm for working with children. Children’s Friend provides books for volunteers, or volunteers may choose to read their favorite book (provided it is appropriate for children aged 3 to 5).
