David Spremulli

David Spremulli, 77, of East Providence passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 12, 2026 at Rhode Island Hospital with his family by his side. He was the beloved husband of Gertrude E. (DeVall) Spremulli. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Salvatore and Mary (Ruscetta) Spremulli.

David was the Tax Assessor for the Town of East Greenwich until his retirement. He had previously served as the Assistant Tax Assessor for the City of East Providence. He received his Bachelor Degree from Providence College. His greatest joy was spending time with his family. He also enjoyed golfing with his brother, photography, fishing, reading, cooking and serving as a basketball coach. He loved caring for his pets as well.

In addition to his wife, he was also the loving father of Mark D. Spremulli and caring brother of Linda McLaughlin and the late Vincent A. Spremulli. He also leaves several nieces and nephews and a large extended family.

In lieu of flowers, gifts in David’s memory to Community Food Share Pantry at First Unitarian Church of Providence would be appreciated.
