Diana Lucy (Vendetti) Holcomb
74, of Johnston passed away Tuesday December 23, 2025 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Richard D. Holcomb, Sr.
Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late John and Katherine (Grenci) Vendetti. Diana was an inspiration to everyone. She endured more than most and still found every reason to smile. She had a profound ability to forgive and see the good in every situation, she had a huge heart and everyone who knew her loved her dearly. She gave endlessly and never asked or expected anything in return, she was a caretaker in every sense of the word. In 2013, Diana received the Project Weber Hero of the Year award for her unwavering support for those who struggle with addiction. Her faith in God carried her through her many obstacles throughout her entire life.
She was the devoted mother of Richard Holcomb of Providence and Melodi Lee and her wife Karen of Cranston; she was the dear sister of Kathleen Giammarco and her husband Joe of North Providence; and loving aunt to Joseph Giammarco of Cranston. She is also survived by her loving Grand Dog Nico, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
