Eric Talavera Obituary

Eric Talavera

July 13, 1970 – May 3, 2026

Psalm 34:18

“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”

It is with deep sorrow and broken heart that we announce the passing of Eric Talavera, an amazing man full of boundless energy, intelligence, and love. Eric was born on July 13, 1970 and transitioned to his eternal life on May 3, 2026. In his 55 years of life, Eric has touched many lives with his wisdom, humor, and unconditional kindness and respect.

Eric will forever be remembered as a spirit of love and kindness not to just his family but to everyone he came across with. He has impacted us with his views of oneself and great wisdom. He had a gift of seeing what you, yourself was unable to see potential and greatness. He has taught us to go past our own barrier of comfort and to own and seek what the world has to offer us.

So let that be his legacy to us to love and respect each other endlessly and to push each other past our limits just as he would have. He wasn’t perfect, but we all aren’t perfect and that makes us human. But you know what he was full of love and laughter throughout his despair. We should remember him as that a man who didn’t give up a man who fought a great fight and despite it all always saw the beauty that life had to offer even through the darkest times.

He has left many people who loved and cared so much for him on this earth and yet we are sad because we are unable to keep enjoying life and make memories with him. But deep down inside us we know that he is smiling upon us from heaven and will wait for us until our day comes and we are reunited again.

Family and friends come and joins us to say our last goodbye to an amazing son, father, brother, and friend. Visiting ours would be on Saturday May 16, 2026 from 9 am to 12 pm at Bell Funeral Home located at 571 Broad St Providence RI 02907 from then will be his burial from 12pm to 1pm.
