Convenient Commute | Du Phan
Providence Train Station
I’m going to work. I’m working in Cambridge. I’m a software engineer. I’m working on the language model, AI. I enjoy it so far. I feel that my work fits me well. I leverage my empathy at my work, I feel like it’s impactful.
About five years ago when I came to U.S., I started working on the machine learning software development. I came from Vietnam, and I started my PhD in South Korea. I studied applied mathematics, partial differential equations. Very completely different. But then when I moved to U.S… I think that it’s better to follow the industry.
I commute about two or three times a week. I work in hybrid mode. I enjoy my work. The commute is convenient. I live in Blackstone. In the winter, my wife take me here. But in the summer, I use a bike to go here. I use the folding bike where I can bring on the train. I bike from my home to the train station and then from the train station to the office. So it’s about… 1 hour commute. That’s great. I feel good with that.
