A dedicated family man and a hard worker, Gary spent many years self-employed in the construction field until his illness. He was known for his unwavering commitment as a husband and father, but his greatest joy was being a grandfather. Gary brought laughter and fun to every gathering, always telling jokes, teasing the kids, and giving everyone their own nicknames. Time with family meant everything to him, and he cherished every moment, whether playing kickball in schoolyard, watching football, he loved the Patriots, basketball, (he was an avid 76ers fan), or camping with his grandchildren. He also loved his Red Sox; he watched ESPN with Stephen A. Smith every morning for his daily sports fix. Gary’s generosity, caring nature, and heart of gold made him a friend to all, always willing to help anyone in need. His warmth and kindness will be deeply missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him including his extended children, Paige Medieros, Tamaya Almeida, Larissa Lombardi, Danielle Piccoli, Chloy O’Quinn, Tara Parkhurst, Krystal Dutra and John Cervini whom he made his family and loved dearly.
