Will Andre Aubourg, 79, of Providence, Rhode Island, passed away peacefully on October 1, 2025, at Rhode Island Hospital. He was the beloved husband of the late Marie Aubourg and the late Nicole Jeannot Aubourg.
Born in Les Anglais, Haiti, on April 28, 1946, Will was the son of the late Roland Aubourg and Manita Francois, and the grandson of the late Leo Teroge and Ismaelite Francois. He immigrated to the United States in 1984, first settling in Brooklyn, New York, before making Rhode Island his home in 1985, where he lived for the rest of his life.
Will was a man of deep faith, music, and family. A proud founding member of the group Les Aiglons, he was known for his smooth voice and skill as a bass player. A self-taught guitarist and talented songwriter, he shared his gifts through both performance and worship, playing guitar for Saint Michael’s Catholic Church in Providence for many years.
He is survived by his children Murielle Aubourg, Willande Aubourg, Willaznard Aubourg, Bichara Aubourg, Fatima Aubourg, David Lasseque, Claude Michelle Oliveira, Jean Aubourg, and Marc Aubourg.
He leaves behind his cherished grandchildren: Telicia Derose, Nicholas Durand, Starlette Munoz, Mandela Davis, Alanna Harper, Dasia Quinonez, David Petrarca, Olivier Davis, Taleah Michelle Oliveira, and Logyn Aubourg; and one great-grandchild, Nyelle Molina.
He is also survived by his loving siblings: brothers Pierre Levelt Francois, Joseph Leo Francois, and Jean Robert Francois, and sisters Rolande Aubourg and Remercile Charles, who will forever cherish his memory.
Will was a true family man who found his greatest joy surrounded by loved ones. He was a lover of all music, a devoted movie enthusiast, and an avid sports fan, especially when cheering for his favorite team, the Los Angeles Lakers. He loved watching tennis, dressing sharp, and carried himself with unmistakable style and grace. Those who knew him will remember his warm smile, his easy laugh, and his signature scent that always announced his presence before he entered the room.
In his quieter moments, Will enjoyed watching his favorite shows like Virgin River, Heartland, and Rosewood. Above all, he will be remembered for his kindness, his musical spirit, and his unwavering love for his family.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved him.
