Lucy R. Hart, 98, of Providence, passed away peacefully Wednesday June 4th, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert H. Hart.
Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Louise Lancia.
Mrs. Hart was employed by the Providence School Dept. and was a Hostess at the former Valley Steak House. She enjoyed Ballroom Dancing, taking long weekends to go camping, playing cards, and going to Twin River Casino.
She will be remembered as a loving and devoted mother.
She is survived by two sons, Frank Hart and his wife Janice, and Harry Hart and his wife Debra, a sister, Terri Underwood; a grandson, Adam Hart; and two great-grandsons, Will and Charlie.
Visiting hours will be at the A.A. Mariani & Son Funeral Home, 200 Hawkins Street, Providence, Monday June 9th from 9:00 am-10:00 am, followed by a service at 10:00 am. Burial will follow in St Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Activities Fund c/o Holiday Retirement Home, 30 Sayles Hill Rd, Manville, RI 02838.
