Mario J. Carneiro

Mario J. Carneiro, 67, of North Providence, Rhode Island, passed away Saturday, March 2, 2024. Born in Ponta Delgada, Azores, Portugal, Mario was the beloved son of the late Joao Manuel Carneiro and Olga (Pavao) Carneiro.
A proud alumnus of Providence College, Mario embarked on a professional journey that culminated in the co-founding of Angelini & Carneiro, C.P.A.’s in East Providence, RI, alongside his esteemed business partner, Tracy Angelini. His unwavering commitment to excellence and dedication to his clients earned him a reputation as a trusted advisor and friend.
Beyond his thriving CPA practice, Mario’s heart belonged to the theater. His passion for acting ignited his involvement with the Attleboro Community Theater, where his talent and generosity shone brightly. As an actor and executive producer for numerous Hawk Studio Productions, Mario’s creative spirit knew no bounds, bringing joy and inspiration to all who had the pleasure of experiencing his work.
Mario’s generosity extended far beyond his professional and artistic endeavors; he was a pillar of strength and support to his friends and family. His boundless kindness and caring nature left a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing him, leaving an indelible mark on their hearts.
Mario leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter, cherished by his daughter, Cristina Carneiro, dear sister, Margaret LePage, beloved nieces Caitlin and Nicole LePage, and adored great-niece Avery D’Addario.
Mario’s funeral service will take place on Saturday, March 9, 2024, starting at 9:30am at REBELLO FUNERAL HOME, located at 901 Broadway, East Providence. A service will follow at 11:00am in the Redwood Chapel of Swan Point Cemetery, situated at 585 Blackstone Blvd, Providence, RI. Burial will proceed at Swan Point Cemetery. Relatives and friends are warmly welcomed to attend. Calling hours will be held on Friday from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at the funeral home.
Mario’s spirit will continue to shine brightly through the memories he created and the lives he touched. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered for his boundless generosity, unwavering dedication, and passionate pursuit of the arts. May he rest in peace, knowing his legacy of love lives on in the hearts of all who knew him.
