Milagros Del Carmen Castillo Jiménez de 87 años, de Providence, R.I., ha fallecido en su casa el 27 de Enero del 2025, rodeada por el calor, amor y en oración de sus hijos y nietos. Fue la querida hija de Fresolina Castillo y Epifanio Hernandez, cuyos valores y amor llevo consigo a lo largo de su vida. Nacida en la Republica Dominicana, ella conoció al amor de su vida, su esposo, Cresencio Jiménez, con quien formo una hermosa familia de 14. Fue una mujer trabajadora, ejemplar, y llena de fe, lo cual dedico una vida entera para su familia. Fue una mujer amorosa, generosa, llena de compasión lo cual vivió según sus creencias y valores católicos. Fue miembro activa de varias congregaciones católicas lo cual incluye la congregación de Sagrado Corazón de Jesus, Legión de Maria y Cursillista. Milagros vivió una vida llena de fortaleza, determinación y siempre encontró alegría en los momentos compartidos con sus seres queridos. Ella demostraba su amor por la música y el baile en cada evento familiar y fue admirada por sus seres queridos por su positividad y alegría hacia el regalo de la vida. Fue la adorada madre de 12 hijos: Areció Jiménez, la fallecida, Oneida Jiménez, Onelda Bautista (Lurdes), Gilberto Jiménez, Jorge Jiménez, Pablo Jiménez, Francisco Jiménez, Ramon Jiménez, Elizabeth Jiménez, Silvestre Jiménez, Iris Jiménez, y Juan Jiménez. Ella deja atrás un legado de amor incondicional como la adorada abuela de 34 nietos (1 fallecido), 31 Bisnietos, y 5 Tataranietos. El velorio se llevará a cabo el Jueves 30 de Enero desde el horario 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. en la Funeraria Nardolillo, localizada en el 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, RI. La Misa de entierro Cristiano será celebrada el Viernes 31 de Enero a las 10 am, en la Iglesia St. Bartolomé, 297 Laurel Hill Avenue, Providence, RI. El entierro se realizará posteriormente en el Cementerio St. Ann donde descansará en paz. Milagros Del Carmen Castillo Jimenez, 87, of Providence, R.I., passed away at home on January 27, 2025, surrounded by the warmth, love, and prayers of her children and grandchildren. She was the beloved daughter of Fresolina Castillo and Epifanio Hernandez, whose values ​​and love she carried with her throughout her life. Born in the Dominican Republic, she met the love of her life, her husband, Cresencio Jimenez, with whom she raised a beautiful family of 14. She was a hard-working, exemplary, and faith-filled woman, dedicating her entire life to her family. She was a loving, generous, and compassionate woman who lived her Catholic beliefs and values. She was an active member of several Catholic congregations including the Sacred Heart of Jesus, Legion of Mary, and Cursillista congregations. Milagros lived a life of strength, determination, and always found joy in the moments shared with her loved ones. She displayed her love of music and dance at every family event and was admired by her loved ones for her positivity and joy towards the gift of life. She was the adored mother of 12 children: Areció Jiménez, the deceased, Oneida Jiménez, Onelda Bautista (Lurdes), Gilberto Jiménez, Jorge Jiménez, Pablo Jiménez, Francisco Jiménez, Ramon Jiménez, Elizabeth Jiménez, Silvestre Jiménez, Iris Jiménez, and Juan Jiménez. She leaves behind a legacy of unconditional love as the cherished grandmother of 34 grandchildren (1 deceased), 31 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 30th from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. at the Nardolillo Funeral Home, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, RI. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 31st at 10am, at St. Bartholomew Church, 297 Laurel Hill Avenue, Providence, RI. Burial will follow at St. Ann Cemetery where she will rest in peace.
