Nevaldo “Tito” Lindo, 67, of Providence, RI, passed away on May 7, 2026, in Rhode Island Hospital.
Born in Bronx, NY, he was the son of the late Neville and Etta Lindo.
Tito dedicated part of his working life to caring for others through his work in nursing homes, where his compassion and steady presence reflected the best of who he was. He understood the importance of dignity, patience, and respect, and he brought those qualities to his work each day. His service in that setting spoke to his generous heart and his willingness to help those in need.
Those who knew Tito will remember him as a funny and outgoing people-person who could make friends wherever he went. He had a natural ability to connect with others and to bring laughter into a room. His personality was warm and engaging, and he left people feeling welcomed and valued. Tito’s sense of humor and easygoing nature made him someone others enjoyed being around, and his friendships were built on sincerity and trust.
Above all, Tito was a protective father who loved his family deeply. He took great pride in his daughters and in the role he played in their lives. His love was steadfast, and his presence was a source of comfort and strength.
Tito is survived by his five daughters, Nyasia DiBona, Kiallah Glode, Brianna Lindo, J’saya Lindo, and Ilyssa Lindo. He additionally leaves his former wife, Maria Galindez, and nine grandchildren, all of whom will carry his memory forward with love and gratitude.
