Nhia Fu Yang, 74, of Providence, passed away unexpectedly Sunday December 21st. He was the beloved husband of Phoua (Kue) Yang.
He was born in Laos, and relocated to Rhode Island, where he was employed as a social worker. He served honorably in the United States Army, retiring as a Captain.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by five children, A. Yang, Mckhamson Yang and his wife Alina, Ber Yang, Bee Yang and her companion Frank Bisch, and Jerry Jr. Yang; four grandchildren, Lulu, Buddha, Temple, and Kimberly; and a great granddaughter, Leylani. He was the father of the late Lothong T. Yang.
