Robert (Bob) Lembo

Robert (Bob) Lembo, 65, of Warwick, passed away peacefully at home on March 26th, alongside his devoted wife of 25 years, Darlene DiPaolo Lembo.

Born in Providence, Bob was the son of the late Michael Lembo and Maureen (Lembo) Barron, each of whom were long-time residents of Lincoln.

For many years, Bob teamed with his brother, Russell Lembo, as part of Lembo Brothers Electric Company, which has been a trusted service provider to the State of Rhode Island, commercial, and residential customers. Bob spent his early years in Pawtucket and Lincoln, growing up alongside five other Lembo siblings. After his time at Lincoln High School, Bob joined the U.S. Army and later learned the electrical industry trade.

As a devoted partner to his wife, Darlene, and her family, Bob resided for many years in Pawtucket before moving to Providence and later, Warwick. He was a long-time New England Patriots ticket holder and remained a fan of the team until the very time of his passing.

Bob fought valiantly against long-time respiratory and cardiac challenges and remained stoic throughout, spending time connecting with family and friends immediately prior to his passing.

He was a kind-hearted friend to many and a welcome member of the extended Lembo and DiPaolo families, who will mourn him forever.

In addition to Darlene, Bob leaves behind his siblings – Michael Lembo and his wife, Susan, of Lincoln; Donna Lague of Tampa, FL.; Russell Lembo and his wife, Kim, of Johnston; Gina Rubolotta and her husband, Paul, of Warwick; and Nancy Boutin and her husband, Tim, of West Harwich, Massachusetts. Bob had a compassionate heart and shared a loving relationship with his wife Darlene for decades, in homes filled with family felines, laughter, good times, and delicious home cooking. In addition to enjoying summer beach days with Darlene, Bob was a voracious reader.
