A beloved and devoted father, grandfather, and friend, Ronald A. Siravo, 86, of North Providence, died peacefully and surrounded by his family, on October 6, 2024, at Golden Crest Nursing Home, in North Providence. He was born in Providence, on May 7, 1938, to Pasquale and Viola Siravo.
He is survived by many: his son Lawrence Siravo of Rumford; his brother, Pasquale Siravo of Charlestown; his daughters, Jessica Siravo and Ashley Siravo, all of Providence; and Christine Siravo, of East Providence; his stepdaughters, Jennifer Urban, Gloria Forgue, Rhonda Urban, Lisa Urban; and his stepsons, Charles Urban, all of Providence; and John Urban of Lincoln and several beautiful grandchildren.
Ronald was predeceased by his wife, Gloria J. Siravo; his sisters, Eunice (Siravo) Franco, Gertrude (Siravo) Prew, Marie (Siravo) Fisuerido, Beverly (Siravo) Pratt, and Bernice Siravo; and his stepson, James Urban, all of Providence.
Ronald was a kind and considerate family man, who, for many years, professionally dedicated himself to the textile industry, where he worked tirelessly to provide for his loved ones. Later in life, he redirected his time and attention towards protecting students, faculty, and buildings at the Rhode Island School of Design, in Providence, where, as a member of the campus security team, he concluded his career.
Following his retirement, Ronald most enjoyed making memories with his grandchildren. He was a light-hearted and clever jokester, whose favorite hobby was to make others laugh. His love and laughter will be sincerely missed by all who knew him.
