Rosemary A. Borrelli

Rosemary A. Borrelli, 62, of North Providence, passed away Wednesday February 12th, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Carmine Borrelli, III.

Born in Providence she was a daughter of the late Edward and Rose (Walsh) Baker-Ellinwood.

Mrs. Borrelli was the proud co-owner of Borrelli’s Bakery on Charles Street. She enjoyed going to work every day and greeting her customers with a big smile, who were like family.

She cherished her grandchildren and loved the time she spent with them. Christmas was her favorite holiday, and she enjoyed being with her family. Her favorite place on earth was the beach and considered Clearwater, FL her second home. If you ever stopped by her home, she would not let you leave until you had been fed. Rose also loved taking motorcycle rides with her husband Carmine.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her stepfather, Ronald Ellinwood; four children, Carmine Borrelli, IV (Christine), Philip W. Swenson (Larissa), Tori L. Swenson (Ryan Young), and Anthony E. Borrelli, three grandchildren, Cynthia Marie Swenson, Carmine Borrelli, V, and Asher Gregory Young; and three sisters, Patricia Flint, Carol Montecalvo (Mike) and Debbie Medeiros; and her two beloved dogs, Xena and Nelly; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Edward Baker, Susan Iafrate, Daniel Baker, and Kathy Carroll.

Her funeral will be from the A.A. Mariani & Son Funeral Home, 200 Hawkins Street, Providence, Thursday February 20th at 10:15 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 am at St. Ann Church, 280 Hawkins Street, Providence. Burial will follow in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket. Visiting hours are Wednesday, February 19th 4:00 -8:00 pm.
