The Village Common of Rhode Island helps to support older adults who wish to age in their home through a network of local ‘villages’ and volunteers. They are seeking volunteers from across the state to help seniors in their local community. Volunteers are needed to drive seniors to medical and personal appointments, and shopping. Volunteers also may help with light household maintenance such as changing light bulbs and hanging photos, and with technical support for phones and other electronic devices.
