The Village Common of Rhode Island

The Village Common of Rhode Island helps to support older adults who wish to age in their home through a robust network of local ‘villages’ and volunteers. The organization is looking for volunteers for its Providence Village. Volunteers are needed to drive seniors to medical and personal appointments, for shopping, pet care needs, and social events. All volunteers undergo a background check and receive training. Those interested must have their own car, car insurance, and a good driving record.
