Yolanda V. “Lonnie” Bedetta
100, of Cranston, passed away on Thursday, August 7, 2025 at Riverview Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center, Coventry surrounded by her loving family. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Marietta (Ricci) Bedetta. Lonnie was the sister of the late Gladys Gasbarino, Gilbert Bedetta, Eugene Bedetta, Esther Paolo, Barbara McKenna and George Bedetta. She was the beloved aunt of many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great great nieces and nephews.
She worked for the American Red Cross, Starkweather and Shepley, The Beauty Nest Salons and the Rhode Island Academy of Beauty Culture. Lonnie was an avid golfer and a member of Valley Country Club.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, August 13, 2025 at 10:00 am in St. Mary’s Church, Cranston. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours and flowers are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: HopeHealth Hospice, 1085 N Main St., Providence, RI 02904.
