Raymond Pagliarini

Raymond Pagliarini, 87, passed away on Sunday, August 31, 2025, at the Care Dimensions Hospice House in Lincoln, MA. Born and raised in Cranston, RI, he was the son of the late John A. Pagliarini and Angelina (Mariorenzi) Pagliarini, and brother of the late John A. Pagliarini, Jr.
Raymond was the devoted husband of the late Roselie M. Pagliarini (Capaldi) for 56 years. Together, they lived in Providence, RI, where they were active members of St. Ann’s Parish, before moving to Peabody, MA in 2019. In their later years, Raymond was constantly by Roselie’s side as a caregiver.

He is survived by his son, Raymond A. Pagliarini and his wife Katherine Whang, and by his beloved grandchildren, James and Lucia.

A 1956 graduate of Cranston High School, Raymond served as an Airman First Class in the 102nd Air Control and Warning Squadron of the Air National Guard from 1961–1962. A life-long builder and tinkerer, he found joy in creating, fixing, and sharing his skills with others. In his youth, he worked with his father building homes, and as an adult, he worked as a machinist at the Prince Engineering Laboratory at Brown University until his retirement.

Raymond was also a passionate Ford Model A enthusiast. He restored several Model A Fords and enjoyed taking trips with his wife and fellow members of the Little Rhody Model A Club. He had a deep love for gardening and was known for baking the best apple pies, made with apples from his own trees.

In his later years, Raymond remained active in the woodshop at Brooksby Village, crafting wooden toys and gifts—many of which were donated to children in need.
