Arthur E. Paone Sr., age 75, of North Scituate, passed away unexpectedly at Miriam Hospital on Friday, January 9, 2026.
Born in Providence, Arthur was the son of the late Thomas and Claire (Porcaro) Paone.
He was the husband of the late Elizabeth (McDonald) Paone, with whom he shared many devoted years building a life and raising their family in North Providence.
For years, Arthur spent much of his free time proudly attending his son’s football games and his daughter’s softball games. On the weekends, you could find him working on cars with his neighbor or enjoying a hot coffee and some laughs at the local Dunkin’ Donuts with some friends.
For most of his life, Arthur was employed by Texas Instruments before settling into a role at EMS Engineering, where he later retired. He was a dedicated and loyal employee who took great pride in his work and often preached to his family about the importance of working hard.
He is survived by his loving children, Arthur E. Paone Jr. and his wife Jessica, and Tara Geisser and her husband Scott; his cherished grandchildren, Ashley Paiva and her husband Louis, Madison Geisser, and Victoria Geisser; and his great-granddaughter, Lenna Paiva.
He also leaves behind his brothers, Thomas E. Paone and Russell Paone, and his sisters, Joanne Klemanchuck and Gail Medeiros. He was predeceased by his brother, Richard Paone, and many beloved nieces and nephews.
At the request of Arthur Paone Sr. and his family, the funeral services will be private.
