Angelina D. Petrosinelli, 99, of North Scituate, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 16, with her loving son by her side. She had proudly called North Scituate home for over 60 years. She was the devoted wife of the late Arthur Petrosinelli.
Born in Providence, Angelina was the daughter of the late Innocenzo and Maria (Mansolillo) DiLibero and the stepdaughter of the late Francesca (Simeone) DiLibero.
A lifelong learner, Angelina earned her bachelor’s degree from Bryant College, her master’s degree in Health Administration from Northeastern University, and later became a registered paralegal through Roger Williams University.
Angelina worked at the Providence VA Hospital for 32 years and the Brockton, West Roxbury and Worcester Hospitals for 9 years for a total of 41 years of service. Known for her diligence and problem-solving skills, she played a key role in resolving complex issues at the hospitals in Massachusetts.
After retiring, Angelina continued to serve her community by delivering meals to elderly neighbors through Meals on Wheels, reflecting her lifelong commitment to helping others. She will be remembered for her love of gardening and cooking for her family and friends.
She is survived by her son, Arthur Paul Petrosinelli, and his wife, Maria, of North Scituate, along with many cousins. She was predeceased by her sister, Antonetta Maceroni.
The family wishes to express their deepest gratitude to her cherished caregivers, Cheryl Pine and Paula Paquette, whose compassion, kindness, and dedication meant so much to Angelina and her family.
