Andrew DeLicio, of North Providence, passed away Monday July 6th, surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of the late Irene (Maziarz) DeLicio.
Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Andrew and Rose “Dolly” (Pierazio) DeLicio.
Mr. DeLicio was employed as a Police Officer for the City of Central Falls for 27 years. He served honorably in the United States Navy, during the Cuban Missile Crisis in 1962. In his spare time, he enjoyed boating, fishing, and spending time working on various projects around the house.
He will be remembered for his caring and giving nature.
He is survived by his life partner, Lana Parenteau; two sons, Lucien Nobrega and his wife Marie and Andrew Delicio and his wife Donna; three grandchildren, Eric Nobrega, Andrew Delicio, and Tyler Delicio; 13 great-grandchildren; and a brother Russell DeLicio. He was predeceased by a grandson, Cory McCulloch, and a sister, Marie Coccia.
