To the Editor,
I cannot believe that the Providence Eye is posting on X. I, for one, will never contribute to any organization which supports Musk. It’s shameful that you do. Please join me, and thousands of others who have taken a moral stance against this racist, homophobic, destructive site.
But, I guess that’s why I’m not surprised to read the anti-union article that was in Julia Steiny’s article this morning. Fine if you want to give voice to all positions, but please balance an article like that by explaining why Unions are so important as would be leaving a principal and parents in charge of what goes on in schools. Banned books anyone? No transgendered bathroom (no less athletes). Please, teachers are the only people educated in the building to teach. As I like to say, if you don’t like unions then create the conditions which will eliminate them: caps on classroom size, health care, well run ESL programs, etc.

Last night, as my wife Joan was decorating our fireplace, I asked myself a question . . . “Does Mrs. Claus have a first name?”
