People in Providence 07.09 – Chris

Chris | Billy Taylor Park

“When I was younger, my father put a hoop up in the driveway and we weren’t allowed to watch TV or play video games, so then it’s like, I could either do my homework or go out and play basketball. I wasn’t really interested in doing my homework, so I would go out in the driveway and I’d plug in my tape player and I’d play Guns n’ Roses, Led Zepplin, or whatever and maybe play some one-on-one with my brother…Shooting hoops and looking at the sunset is something I’ve done since I was six years old. It’s peaceful for me”.
