Angelo Ricciotti

Angelo Ricciotti, 94, of Providence, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on August 23, 2025.

Angelo was the beloved husband of Michelina (Parente) Ricciotti, with whom he shared a lifetime of memories and an unbreakable bond. Together sharing 71 years of marriage, they raised a family that became Angelo’s pride and joy.

Born in August of 1931, in the town of Cerreto Sannita, Italy, he was the son of the late Michele and Stephania Ricciotti.

Angelo’s life was a testament to the joy found in simple pleasures. His hands, skilled and tender, cultivated not only the earth in his garden but also the hearts of those around him. An avid gardener, he took great pride in nurturing his plants and sharing the fruits of his labor with family and friends. His homemade wine was a symbol of his dedication to tradition and the rich history of farming that he so revered. He found fellowship and community as a member of St. Anthony Social Club and was an all-star athlete of the RI Boccia League, one of the best shooters of the game, which was not just as a pastime but a way to connect with others, share stories, and create lasting friendships.

Professionally, Angelo was a respected toolsetter at Esposito Jewelry, where his craftsmanship and attention to detail were unparalleled. His work ethic reflected his character: diligent, reliable, and always striving for excellence.

Angelo is survived by his wife, Michelina, and their children: Rena Bonollo and her husband Dennis, Michael Ricciotti and his wife Melinda, his grandchildren: Veronica Rendina, John Amaral Jr., Michael Ricciotti Jr., Melissa Moriarty, Anthony Ferriera, Christina Belmont, Vince Lombardi Jr., and his great-grandchildren: Ava, Aidan, Jianni, Aria, Roman, Lexi, Olivia, Domenic, Eliyahna, Angelina, Audriana, Luna, Stella, and his sisters: Asutina Ricciotti and Giuseppina Gismondi.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Nina (Ricciotti) Galvin, his brothers, John Ricciotti and Andrea Ricciotti, and his sisters, Lucia Ricciotti and Maria Ricciotti.
