Books Are Wings, whose mission puts free books in the hands of children across Rhode Island, is looking for volunteers to assist at community and school events. This is a great opportunity for those with free time and a passion for inspiring young minds through the joy of reading. At events, volunteers assist with the set-up and breakdown of the ‘Book Table’ and help children select books to keep. Volunteers choose the events and frequency at which they help out.
