To the Editor:
On Wednesday February 5th and Saturday February 8th I attended anti-Trump, anti-Musk, anti-coup rallies at the Statehouse and downtown respectively. At both rallies there were passionate speeches about the threat to democracy that we are facing. We can’t rely on our representatives or the courts to save our democracy, it’s going to take ordinary citizens taking to the streets to do that job, just as the people of Rhode Island did this past week.
