Vincent F. Lepizzera

Vincent F. Lepizzera, 82 of Foster passed away on Thursday February 26, 2026, with his beloved wife by his side. Born in Providence he was the son of the late Joseph and Anna (Palumbo) Lepizzera. He was the beloved husband of Janice (DiCarlo) Lepizzera.

He proudly served his country in the US Navy, for just over 4 years. He then went on to work for his brother Michael in his masonry business, prior to becoming a corrections officer. He retired after 28 years as a Captain from the Department of Corrections; he was also a Commander of the tactical team. Vin was a quiet, gentleman, whose presence was always welcomed by family and friends. He was an avid hunter for many years, traveling throughout the US to hunt including all the New England States. He enjoyed motorcycle trips with family and friends. Alongside his wife Janice he enjoyed traveling, checking out antique shops, fairs and living a simple yet wonderful life. Vin had a special bond with his nieces and nephews, also with his great nieces and nephews, and cousins

Besides his wife he is survived by his son Scott Lepizzera, and his grandchildren. He also leaves his siblings Michael Lepizzera, Sr., Janet Connell, and Carol McGill. He was predeceased by his sister Ann Marie Lepizzera and his brother Joseph Lepizzera, Jr.

His Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at 11:00 am at St. Mary’s Church, 1525 Cranston St., Cranston. Everyone is invited to go directly to the church. Burial will be private. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
